Meet Reminders

The event list for our meet at branch brook park has been posted on your right under additional information. The frosh/novice race will go off at 4pm, varsity boys will race at 4:30pm and varsity girls will race at 5:15pm. Please be mindful of your food intake and your hydration levels tomorrow, it will be on the warm side. See you all tomorrow.

Reminders

Stewart Invitational

The link to the right "Stewart Invitational" has the event list and the race time for each section. The bus will be leaving Midland Ave at 7:30am. If your name is not on the list and you will be able to attend the meet please let the coaching staff know.

Please be sure to contact Coach Wallace by the end of practice tomorrow (Thursday) if you can NOT make Saturdays meet.

Montclair Fun Run

Join MHS Athletics, the MHS School Action Team and MFEE True Blue Spirit  on Woodman Field and show your support for Montclair High School athletics at the Mountie Pride Fun Run on Sunday, September 22nd!

 

SCHEDULE:

Registration: 4:00 pm

Community Pavilion: 4:00 - 7:00 pm

5K race start time: 5:00 pm 

1mile walk start time: 5:30 pm

parent/athlete meeting

Tomorrow night at 7pm. at the utility next to woodman field we will be meeting to talk about the cross-country season. it is not necessary for athletes to come. Linda bowers will also talk about our boooster club. should only last about 45 minutes. next meet tuesday 9/17 at branchbrook. freshmen/novice run 2.1 miles at 4pm. the varsity girls 4:15 and varsity boys 4:30. then on 9/20 we travel to garrett mountain for an invitational. all athletes will know by wednesday practice who will be running. see you tomorrow night. coach joel

branchbrook directions

All meets on tuesday at brancbrook park in newark. best way to get there is take bloomfield avenue east into newark. on your right you will pass newark school stadium. about 1/4 mile down on your right is an entrance to park. go down to end to park roadway and make left to take you under bloomfield avenue traveling north. go about3/4 of a mile and look for parking along roadway. race starts and finishes in that area. all frosh and novice who didn't make varsity will run at 4pm. for a distance of 2.1 miles. On 9/10 the varsity girls run at 4:45 and varsity boys at 5pm. hope to see you there.

Saturday Practice

Saturdays practice time has been changed to 8am.

Practice and Uniforms

There is no practice Thursday September 5, 2013. There will be practice Friday at 2:30 at woodman meet on the track. Saturday we will have practice at 9am at Woodman.  We will also be distributing uniforms on Saturday only. If you have not given Coach Wallace a check for $175 made out to Montclair High School by Saturday, you will not receive a uniform. Any questions or concerns please let the coaching staff know.
