TEAM SCHEDULE

Announcement: practice on thursday will start 10am, sharp and end at 11am. practice on friday will be 10am, sharp and end 11:30am. practice saturday will be at Brookdale Park from 9am. sharp to 10:15am. no practice on sunday and monday.  tuesday we resume practice at woodman from 10am.-11:30am. wednesday will be a time trial on the track of 3 miles for certain athletes to see who will be running varsity on tuesday september 10th. only 12 qualify. everyone else will do a 2 mile timed road run. At the meet on the 10th everyone who doesn't run varsity will run the 4pm. race with a distance of 2 miles.  The jewish holiday is thursday and friday with practice optional with coach Wallace. we will have practice on that Saturday at 9:30-11:00am at brookdale. get your uniform checks in to Coach wallace. We will be having a student-parent meeting in the utlity room at woodman on thursday september 12th at 7pm.

Important Announcement (uniforms)

We will be distributing uniforms within the next few days. In order to receive a your uniform/warmups we must have a $175 check made out to Montclair High School. If you have given Coach Wallace a check during a previous season, you are not required to hand in another check.

It is important to understand you are in no way paying for the uniform, it is simply a security deposit ensuring that you will return the uniform in the condition it is given to you. 

Our first meet will be held Tuesday September 10, 2013. The sooner the check is handed in the better. Thank you for your cooperation.  

Practice has been canceled today due to the weather. If the weather clears up this afternoon be sure to get a run in of 3-5 miles. There will be practice Friday at Woodman Field at 9:00.

Pre-Season Practice begins Monday August 12th

This monday at woodman Field in the front of the entrance to the locker  rooms. The Pre-season for cross-country will begin. Practice will go from 10am-11:30am. Even if you haven't gotten in all the paperwork and taken your physical, you can still attend and run on the streets a few miles. any questions reach out to the coaches. we will be holding wednesdays practice in the evening at brookdale park with some other runners from the area. check blog for the time. hope to see many of you on monday. first race is thursday september 12th.
