Final Day to Hand in Cross Country Forms

Attention all athletes interested in participating in a fall sport. July 6th from 4pm -7pm in the LGI located in the main building is the final day to hand in paperwork for the fall season. If paperwork is handed in on this day, you will not have another opportunity to hand in your forms.

Cross Country Information - Handing in Forms/Summer Training

If you plan on participating in cross country in the fall, PLEASE make sure your paperwork is handed in on June 27th. Do not wait until the last day. If you are going away, be sure to hand your paperwork in before your vacation.

Check the blog for dates to take the impact test, if you miss those, you will have to schedule an appointment with St. Barnabas and pay a fee.

Cross Country 2017 Information/Interest Meeting

Interested in running cross country in the fall of 2017? There will be an interest meeting on Thursday, June 8, 2017 immediately after school in the LGI.

Below are the dates where paperwork can be submitted. If you are planning to go on vacation, get this information handed in by June 27, 2017

Form Submission and Sport Physical Schedule

 9th grade Physicals and Paperwork Submission

Location: George Inness Annex
Time: Paperwork Submission 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Physicals 4:30 pm– 6:30 pm

Tuesday, June 6, 2017: Form submission only for ALL INCOMING FRESHMAN
Monday, June 12, 2017: Sports physicals and form submission for ALL INCOMING FRESHMAN.  PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST BE PRESENT.

IF YOU HAVE AN UPPER CLASSMAN  ALSO PLAYING A FALL SPORT, YOU CAN BRING HIS/HER FORMS IN ON THE ABOVE DATES.  PLEASE NOTIFY THE ATHLETIC OFFICE IF YOU ARE BRINGING AN UPPER CLASSMAN'S PAPERWORK, SO WE CAN HAVE ALL NECCESARY FORM READY TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS.

End of Season Social/Banquet Information

Reminder the cross country banquet will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 6pm in the main cafeteria. This is a potluck dinner so please be sure to inform Mrs. Lammin of what you intend to bring.

State Group Championships

The bus will depart from Midland Ave at 10am in Saturday, November 12, 2016. Boys run at 12 noon.

Magnificent Seven (Frosh/JV)/State Sectionals

Friday all freshman and jv student athletes consistent with practice this week will compete at Brookdale Park in the Magnificent Seven Invitational. Frosh Boys and Girls race begins at 3:30pm JV Boys and Girls race begins at 4pm. Bus will leave from Midland immediately after school.

Saturday varsity boys and girls will compete in the NJSIAA State Sectional Championships at Garrett Mountain. The entire team is expected to attend. Boys race is at 10am girls race time is 10:50am. Bus will leave from Midland at 8:30am. Spectators that don't take the bus on Saturday to the meet are expected to be to Garret Mountain at 9:30am.

* End of Season Banquet will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 main cafeteria from 6pm-9pm. This is a potluck, parent/guardians, family and friends are all encouraged to attend.

**Athletes, if you have not given your $5 to Oliver, Sam, or Hannah for senior gifts do so by Friday, all team members are expected to contribute.
