Essex Country Championships

Essex County Championships will be held on Friday October 31, 2014. The meet will take place at Brookdale Park. Boys that are running the JV and Varsity race will be excused from 8th period class. JV and Varsity Girls will make their way to the meet immediately after school. In order to compete you must report to Midland Ave at the designated time and ride the bus. All individuals who are not running but would like to come and support the team meet on Midland Avenue after school as well.

JV BOYS - 3:15PM

VARSITY BOYS - 3:40PM

VARSITY GIRLS - 4:05PM

JV GIRLS - 4:30PM

Wednesday Practice

There is no study hall tomorrow. The locker rooms will be opened at Woodman Field at 3:50pm. Be ready at 4pm for practice. 

Practice will end at 5pm. Please tell your parent/guardian that you can be picked up from Woodman Field tomorrow. 

Sunday Workout

The workout for today is as follows:

If you have consistently run the 4pm race on Tuesdays 35 minute run

If you have consistently run the 5:45pm race on Tuesdays 45 minute run

If you have consistently run varsity boys/girls race 60 minutes 

Dynamics and drills. Stretch really well, abs and push-ups  

Saturday Practice

There is no practice Saturday. Enjoy the day off. Be sure to do some abs, push ups and stretch.

Garrett Invitational and All Class Meet Results

The excitement of yesterday was so contagious. We are so proud of you all. Stay focused, encouraged and remember never settle. Work to be better than the day before, in class and in sport.

Here are the results for the Garrett Invitational (10/11) and the All Class Meet (10/18).

Please remember hydration, nutrition and rest all pay a part in performance in the classroom and in sports. Please be sure to begin your day with breakfast, have a solid lunch and a snack before practice. Hydration is key throughout the day so please sip.

ALL CLASS MEET

For your convenience the times for each race have been provided for the ALL CLASS MEET at Branch Brook Park on Saturday October 18, 2014. The even list will be posted on. 

Bus will be leaving from Midland Ave. at 7:45am

For all individuals who cannot make the meet practice will be at 8am at Woodman Field.

Frosh Boys-9:20am

Soph Girls- 9:40am

Soph Boys-10am

Junior Girls- 10:20am

Junior Boys- 10:40am

Senior Girls- 11:00am
